Quick but tasty tagliatelle pasta recipe.

Hey Guys, If you are reading this thankyou for actually getting onto my website,i know it probably took effort šŸ˜‚.

This is my first recipe andĀ is the perfect recipe if you are limited on time. Maybe you've had a long tiring day at work or maybe you have a young child to look after like i do. Either wayĀ This is a very time effective recipe.

Ā Ingredients ;

Ā * Tagliatelle PastaĀ 

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā * 2 cups Heavy cream

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā *1/2 cup of butter

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā *2Ā TbspĀ Olive oilĀ 

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā * 1Ā tsp Mirin (optional but i love the hint of sweetness it givesĀ 

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā * King Prawns(cooked or uncooked)

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā * Pack of Tenderstem Broccoli

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā * Mushrooms (if you don't like mushrooms replace with a different veg)Ā 

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā * 3 Spring Onions chopped finely

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā * 1/2Ā Red Onion sliced

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā * 2 garlic cloves minced

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā * Mature CheddarĀ Cheese (To taste)

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā * Parmesan Cheese

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā * SaltĀ & Pepper to tasteĀ 

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā * parsleyĀ 

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā *Basil

Ā  Ā  Ā  Ā STEPS ;

  1. Boil a Large pot of water, onceĀ boiling add the Tagliatelle Pasta along with a tablespoon of Salt.

  2. Mix after a few minutes to separateĀ pasta and bringĀ to a simmer. Cook for recommended time on pack and then drain and toss with olive oil to prevent sticking.

  3. In the meantime Boil broccoli until tender and in a separate pan add a teaspoon of olive oil.

  4. To olive oilĀ addĀ Red onion, Garlic , Spring onions, Mushrooms and boiled broccoli and when almost cooked add Prawns until they turn pink( if not already cooked) and then addĀ seasonings( salt ,pepper,Mirin,parsley, basil) and then butter.Ā 

  5. Now add Cream and turn heat to low. AddĀ cheese gradually while stirring thoroughly And then add Grana padano or ParmesanĀ to taste.

  6. Add saucy mixture to pasta and stir thoroughly.

  7. Finally plate up and garnish with basil.Ā 

When I make this I don't make a lot of sauce because I don't like it too thick but it depends on your preference! Make it yours,own it ;)Ā This dish is tasty served with pan fried salmon as belowĀ or even alone. My salmon was seasoned with soy sauce, salt ,pepper ,garlic and mild pepper.
